Since being established in 1998 we have grown rapidly from 25 employees in 2012 to 145 employees in 2019!

Apprentice

“I started with CCL as an apprentice in Business and Admin in February 2012. 

Once I completed my NVQ, I moved to the finance department, completing levels 2 and 3 in Sage computerised accounting before going on to complete a level 2, 3 & 4 AAT qualification which is a certificate, diploma and higher diploma. 

After returning last year from my well-earned sabbatical for 10 months, travelling South America, Sri Lanka and the Philippines, I am now furthering my development through the CIMA route (Chartered Institute of Management Accounting). 

So, from starting as an apprentice in 2012, I am now the Finance Executive in the finance department!”

“I started with CCL in 2012 as a graduate from University. 

I started as a UK Sales Executive gaining valuable knowledge about the business and building strong relationships with our customers. 

I progressed into the role of Junior Account Manager and then Account Manager. 

In 2017 I was promoted to Senior Account Manager responsible for some of the major accounts of the business.”

“I started with CCL as an Accounts Assistant in 2014 after relocating back to the area after the birth of my first child. 

I started my CIMA qualification soon after starting with CCL which helped me to gain the knowledge and understanding to progress my career and move in to the position of Management Accounts Executive.  

Alongside my work in the finance department, I was also responsible for the payroll processing for the business. Having previously completing my CIPP qualifications in my previous job, I was able to continue expanding my payroll knowledge through further update courses. This gave me the confidence to bring the company payroll in-house and as the company grew, so did the payroll, allowing me to further progress my career into the position of Payroll Manager, covering 8 different countries.”
