DL-PHENYLALANINE (DLPA) Product No. P1607


This form of the essential amino acid phenylalanine is a mixture of equal parts of D (synthetic) and L (natural) phenylalanine. By producing and activating morphinelike hormones called endorphins, it intensifies and prolongs the body's own natural painkilling response to injury, accident and disease.

Certain enzyme systems in the body continually destroy endorphins, but DLPA effectively inhibits these enzymes, allowing the painkilling endorphins to do their job.

Because DLPA is capable of selective painblocking, it can effectively alleviate chronic long-term discomfort while leaving the body's natural defense mechanisms for short term acute pain unhindered.

DLPA differs from prescriptive medicines in that it is not addictive, pain relief becomes more effective over time, it has a strong antidepressant action and is non-toxic.

DLPA is a natural painkiller for conditions such as whip-lash, osteroarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, lower back pain, migraines, leg/muscle cramps and neuralgia.
